a residential retreat, 9th-11th December 2022
Santa Cruz mountains
Join us for a weekend of dancing deep and moving with the mystery. We will use the dance to explore our personal experience of the mystery, to see where it shows up in our lives; and how we might open to living more fully in touch with the flow of the big beauty behind it all.
We will gather for a residential retreat at Camp Double Bear in the Santa Cruz Mountains, dancing in the lovely yurt space there and spending time out amongst the redwoods. Camp Double Bear is an off-grid rural property offering close to the land living. Accommodation is shared sleeping bag spaces in rustic yurts and cabins. Meals will be created communally - you will be part of a team for making one meal.
Expect a delicious deep dive into dance, ceremony, community.
Co-facilitated by 5 Rhythms teachers Rachael Jordana, Tom Truman and Tess Howell.
"We have not been raised to cultivate a sense of Mystery. We may even see the unknown as an insult to our competence, a personal failing. Seen this way, the unknown becomes a challenge to action.
But Mystery does not require action; Mystery requires our attention. Mystery requires that we listen and become open. When we meet with the unknown in this way, we can be touched by a wisdom that can transform our lives.”

We value and welcome diversity of racial and cultural identity and background, nationality, sexual and affectional orientation, gender identity and its expression, religious background and/or belief systems, marital status, family structure, educational and class status.
“Leave everything undefined, Including yourself. Befriend uncertainty. Fall in love with mystery. Kneel at the altar of Not Knowing. Give your questions time to breathe and the answers will find you.”
